Michael Essien is having sleepless night in Indonesia: Coach Djadjang

Michael Essien and his former Chelsea teammate, Carlton Cole are going through torrid moments in Indonesia according to their head coach Coach Djadjang Nurdjaman

The Ghana midfielder made a shocking move to Persib Bandung last two months and was joined weeks later by Cole.

The two were charged for breaching Indonesia immigration laws after playing without a work permit and were threatened with a fine and a possible jail sentence up to a maximum of 4 and half years.

Charges were dropped against them and were allowed to continuing plying their trade.

Djadjang Nurdjaman, who is the coach of Persib Bandung says Michael Essien and Carlton Cole are yet to adapt to Indonian football, because they are even battling with the weather.

"They can't fully adapt to the weather and are struggling to sleep," Djadjang revealed in a media conference.

"That has an effect on the field and in training."

"We will take a look at all the players who played and all who didn't," said Djadjang.

"We are ready to rotate and to rest players whenever it is necessary."
